Our mission

Create fabulous cakes and baked goods, and in turn, happy clients.

We would like cake*happy baked products to be as good as the ones that you remember from your childhood, that favorite vacation or special celebration thrown especially for you.

Our baking philosophy

Use great-tasting, fresh and minimally processed ingredients to create outstanding baked products.

Use cooking science and research to find ways to ensure great taste while using ingredients that aren't bad for us.

Examples of what we mean:

• we don't use cake flour which is generally heavily bleached and processed; in fact, we always use unbleached flour period

• we showcase and take advantage of the natural sweetness (or tartness) of the fruits and fruit products we use

• when we use sugar, we use cane sugar (and we don't overuse it)

• we freshly make all of our syrups, and fruit/coconut fillings

Who we are

We are a newly started, family run business.  We were born and raised on the San Francisco peninsula, though our roots are deeply planted on Kauai.

Family and friends are what we value most.  Because of this, in our products we use only what we would choose for those who are most important to us.  We sell only what we would be proud enough to bring to a gathering.
